Fundraising Lottery, Bingo & Poppy Campaign
Donations received from the 2018 Poppy Campaign totalled $63,453.50. Distributions to ex-service persons and their families and the community were$45,426.15. Our campaign expences for wreaths, poppiesyouth education etc. totalled $9,923.71.
The 2019 Poppy Campaign runs from Friday Oct. 25 to Sunday November 10th.
Charity Bingo and Fundraising Raffles
To help support Veterans and our Community we have a licence to offer several Fundraising raffles and Charity Bingo at Delta Bingo in Pickering. Members of the Ajax Legion also volunteer during the Poppy Campaign to raise funds for charity.
Blanket Raffle Licence
- 50/50 Draw – Tickets are $2.00 each or three for $5.00 and the prize is 50% of the ticket sales. Tickets are available at various times.
- Saturday Meat Draw – Tickets are $1.00 or $2.00 and the winner receives the food listed and displayed for that draw. Tickets are available for the first draw is 4:30 and continues until all twelve draws are completed at 6:00pm every Saturday.
- Members Draw – Tickets are $2.00 each and the winner receives 50% of the total ticket sales for that month. The winning ticket is drawn on the last day of each month.
- Break Open Nevada Tickets – Tickets are 50 cents each and the winner receives the prize that is revealed on the ticket.
